Nano Betta Tanks and 20-Gallon Aquariums Compared: 2 Listed Picks
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
This guide compares two tanks from our research for the aquarium search: a one-gallon acrylic betta kit from Vehipa and a 20-gallon glass long tank from Aqueon. They are very different sizes and are not direct alternatives for the same fish load, so the comparison sets out what each listing states.
Figures are copied from listing fields and bullets, checked on 2026-10-12. Where a listing gives two values for one measurement, both are shown.
Quick answer
The Vehipa is the listing that states a complete starter kit for one small betta, with a filter, LED light and lid. The Aqueon is the listing that states 20 gallons of glass capacity and a five-year limited warranty. The Aqueon listing also gives two different sets of dimensions and weights, so check those before you plan a stand or cabinet.

How these two were chosen
Only two listings were in the research for this search, so both were kept. The Vehipa was kept as the betta-sized kit and the Aqueon as the larger glass tank that the search name points to. Because the two sizes differ so much, the comparison does not rank them. Selection used listing text only.
Worked example: capacity and weight from the listings
The Aqueon capacity is 20 gallons and the Vehipa capacity is 1 gallon, so the Aqueon volume is 20 times the Vehipa volume by the listed figures. The Aqueon weights differ between fields: 24.6 pounds in the Item Weight field and 27.0 pounds net in a bullet, a gap of 2.4 pounds. The Vehipa listing gives no item weight. The listings do not state a water volume after the fish, decor or substrate is added, so the figures describe the tanks only.
What the listings do not say
- The Vehipa listing gives no item weight.
- The Aqueon listing gives two sets of dimensions and two weights.
- Neither listing states a water change schedule or a filter flow rate.
